On May 9, Russian troops carried out another rocket attack on the city of Odesa. As a result of the enemy’s shelling, a local shopping center was hit, one person was reported dead, and five others were rushed to hospital. This was written by the press service of the operational command «South».
Seven rockets were fired at the city. According to rescuers, at 10:35 a.m., missiles hit a shopping and entertainment center in the village of Fontanka, Odesa region, and three warehouses in the Suvorovskyi district of Odesa. One person died in the warehouses, and two were injured. In Fontanka, there were three injured. The fires were extinguished after midnight. Unfortunately, one person died, five wounded were taken to the hospital,” the report says.
On the morning of May 10, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the city council of Odesa published photos showing the consequences of the last strike.
