On May 8, at 4:20 p.m., three missiles fired from aircraft of the Black Sea which have hit Odesa. One was shot down by air defense, two others hit the residential area, destroying recreation areas, according to the Operational Command «South».
A fire that broke out in the area of 15 meters’ square was eliminated by 4 special vehicles and 15 rescuers. The removal of debris on the area of 300 meters’ square is going on. At the scene worked an investigative team, which documented all the circumstances and crimes against Ukraine. There are no casualties.
Russia has recently doubled the number of missiles in the Black Sea, said Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, a spokesman for Ukraine’s Defense Ministry.
Currently, there are seven “Kalibr” launchers with a total volley of up to 50 missiles in its waters. Last week, comparatively, there were three vessels with 20 missiles.
