In their following appeal, the military of the Azov Regiment said that the Ukrainian defenders have been fighting heavy battles for the second day in a row against russian invaders who have broken through to the territory of the Azovstal steel plant.

Details: Prokopenko stated that the defenders of Mariupol have been defending the city for 70 days. Since April 25, they have been encircled by russian invaders on the territory of the Azovstal steel plant and are conducting a circular defense operation.
The russian forces launched an assault and managed to break into the territory where the Ukrainian defenders were located.
