The army of the russian occupiers continue to ruthlessly shell #Luhansk Oblast: many houses were destroyed, numerous of them were on fire. The military, rescuers, police, and authorities continue to work non-stop.
- Over the past day, the SES (The State Emergency Service) of the region eliminated more than 10 fires in residential buildings in Kreminna and Lysychansk.
- In the city of Rubizhne, a whole block of the residential sector was on fire; the firefighters rescued 10 civilians from there.
- In Severodonetsk, rescuers put out a fire in a building on the territory of a medical institution. The russian army destroyed a humanitarian center in Severodonetsk so people cannot receive aid. That building came under massive shelling. The walls were destroyed; the warehouse went up in flames. The rescue team of the Luhansk State Emergency Service extinguished the fire.
More than 300 civilians were evacuated from Luhansk on April 12. About 90,000 people are still in bomb shelters in the region’s communities. Rescuers continue to deliver food, medicine, and humanitarian aid to them.
