According to the regional prosecutor’s office, 34 people, including children, were also injured as a result of the shelling.
Russian troops shelled a residential area in Kharkiv, killing civilians. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers do not specify the area of the regional center which was fired upon by the occupying forces. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the attack, there are dead and injured people among civilians.
«Some of the casualties are children. Everybody was delivered to a hospital in Kharkiv. All the victims have nothing to do with the military,» the press service continued.
Despite the tense situation in the region, the police units quickly arrived to document the war crimes committed by the Russian troops.
According to the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, as a result of the shelling of the Sloboda district of the city, seven people were killed. The attack on the sleeper cell, according to law enforcement officers, was carried out around 6:00 p.m. on April 3.
«As a result, about ten houses and a trolleybus depot were damaged. According to preliminary information, seven people were killed. 34 people were injured, including three children. The pre-trial investigation is going on,» the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
