Russian forces began to pull out from the territory of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and go to the territory of Belarus, according to an unnamed Pentagon source.
«Chernobyl is one of those places where the occupants have begun to withdraw their troops — they are leaving Chernobyl for Belarus,» AFP (Agence France-Presse) quoted some source.
The source also added that «we think that they (the Russian troops) are withdrawing. However, we can’t state that everybody has already left.»
As reported, on February 24, Russian troops took control of Chernobyl.
