On March 24, at about 8 p.m., a fire broke out at an oil depot in the village of Kalynivka, Fastiv district, Kyiv region, as a result of enemy shelling. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
As of 6 a.m. on March 25, the burning of oil residues was observed within the embankment of the oil depot’s tank farm.
«There is no threat of fire spreading outside the oil depot,» the State Emergency Service said.
It is worth noting that in the Kyiv region, the Ukrainian military has been on the defensive for a month now. None of the directed opponents succeed. On March 23, the Russian occupiers shelled residential areas and infrastructure more than 30 times.
In general, massive destruction as a result of shelling was received in Bucha (Irpinska, Buchanska, Makarivska, Borodyanska, Dmytrivska communities), Fastiv (Yasnogorodka village), Brovary (Velykodymerska community), and Vyshgorod districts (Dymerska, Ivankivska communities).
