This was reported by the mayor of Irpen Alexander Markushyn in Telegram.
«On March 22, late in the evening, Russian occupants used prohibited phosphorus munitions in the north-western outskirts of Kyiv. The target area is Hostomel-Irpen,» wrote Markushyn.
He added pictures of the explosion to the message.
The Mayor noted that the use of such weapons by enemies against civilians was a crime against humanity and it was a violation of the 1949 Geneva Conventions.
