On March 23rd, Ukraine’s parliament notified the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that firefighters were extinguishing forest fires near the Chernobyl nuclear site.
There was a moderate increase in the concentration of Сesium in the air in Kyiv and at two nuclear power plants, but it doesn’t make serious concerns in terms of radiation level, according to the reports of the IAEA.
