As a result of the morning shelling in Odessa and the region, there are no injured and dead people — according to Speaker of Region Administration Serhii Bratchuk.
Eyewitnesses of the shelling said that the shelling was carried out by two Russian ships — apparently, the frigate class. In this case, the shells mostly went into the water.
The Ukrainian defenders started backfire, after which one of the uninvited guests started smoking, and both ships retreated from the shore.
It is also reported that the mayor of Odessa, Henadiy Trukhanov, visited the shelled houses. According to the mayor, only civilians live in the houses, there are no military facilities.
