On March 17, one of the biggest markets «Barabashovo» in the world has gone up in flames after being shelled by the Russian military.
According to the information, the fire was on trade pavilions in different places of the market. Black smoke rose over Kharkiv.

Mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhiv on Thursday reported that during the extinguishing of the fire the enemy inflicted repeated shelling, during which 2 rescuers were injured by fragmentation. They were immediately sent to a medical institution. During the hospitalization, one of the rescuers died from the injuries.
As of 19:00, the fire spread to private dwellings (the number is still clarifying). Twenty-one fire-rescue units and about 100 State Emergency Service personnel were involved in the extinguishing.
